Gordon and Rita Simon welcome you to Hawksview Peruvians!
We have been breeding Peruvian Horses on our beautiful northwestern Wisconsin farm since 1997.
Our two foundation mares have produced 11 healthy, well-gaited foals since then.
Our 1998 foal, HVP Rosa de Mayo, has proven herself by winning Reserve Champion Breeding Mare
at the 2003 Classic Peruvian Show, and by being a consistent 1st place winner in "Mares
4-6 Breeding," "Mares Gait" and "Mares 4-6 Amateur Performance" classes in 2002 and 2003
shows. Rosa has also produced two spectacular colts.
We feel our breeding program has produced very high quality Peruvian Horses.
Our foundation mares have impeccable bloodlines that include Revolucionario, Don Frederico, Sol de Paijan,
Sol de Oro (V), *Jimena and *Pucala. Their offspring boasts Me Llamo Peru, HNS Domingo, Amante and Burlador heritage.

We became interested in the Peruvian Horse while researching gaited horses for pleasure riding. Gordy had back surgery many
years before, and we needed to find a very smooth riding horse for us to be able to continue to enjoy trail riding in the years ahead.
We rode horses from several gaited breeds, but just one ride on a Peruvian Horse had us hooked for good!
Their beauty and elegance in motion was breathtaking to us, and what an incredible ride!We continue to be impressed with the Peruvian Horses' wonderful temperament
and willingness to please.
We have not been disappointed!!
